- tics and repetitive involuntary movements;
- seizures or episodes that resemble seizures;
- episodes of “freezing”;
- frequent headaches;
- dizziness;
- fainting;
- problems with coordination and balance;
- weakness or unusual sensations in the arms and legs;
- sleep problems;
- heightened excitability and marked irritability;
- difficulty concentrating, where neurological causes need to be ruled out;
- after a head injury;
- ongoing care for a child with a previously diagnosed neurological condition;
- a neurology consultation has been recommended by a pediatrician or another specialist.
